The Canadian Election
I haven't decided if I am going to vote this year considering I have never voted during an election in my life. I don't know too much about The Canadian Election either so that's another reason why I don't plan on voting. All I do know is that this Federal Election may lead to finding the new Prime Minister. I also realize that teens aren't into the whole voting scene. I asked a couple students in my class if they plan on taking part in the election and majority of them said no, including myself. I don't think that elections really matter to us at this age, but one day they will. An issue that I am concerned with is our city's health care system. Whenever I am sick or injured and I need immediate care, I find myself sitting in the waiting room of a hospital for hours and it gets very frustrating. This may not be the biggest issue in the world, but it matters to me. Everyone has a different issue to be concerned about. Over all, I think I might consider taking part in this election because now that I think about it, it does involve the country I live in and I will be affected. I plan on looking deeper into this election so I can understand all the different issues going on in the world. I'm sure something will catch my eye that I'd want change in our country. Every vote counts and in the end, one vote can make a huge difference.

I agree with you on the whole scene of voting, but I wish the people who vote for the sake of voting know who they are voting for atleast.
ReplyDeleteExactly, you can't just pick randomly.
